How have your first three months with Bureau Veritas been?

It’s been an amazing experience. Since starting with Bureau Veritas, I’ve travelled the country networking and meeting new people, including colleagues based across the UK. I even went to Scotland to enjoy a bit of axe throwing! I feel truly supported at Bureau Veritas. I have been welcomed, supported, and I have a great mentor in Mike Kenyon (Electrical Business Unit Director). I really feel as though I have found my people, my company and where I belong.

Why did you decide to join Bureau Veritas, and what drew you to this specific role?

After my wife and I welcomed our second baby boy to the family, I needed to find a new role where I could have a good work life balance. Bureau Veritas felt like a company where my contributions would be valued, and a trusted environment where I could take part in making the world a better place in my own small way.

What does your role entail?

I am an area delivery manager for the South of England in the Electrical division. The role allows me to travel the country to ensure my team and clients are looked after, their needs met. I really enjoy meeting with clients, understanding what we can support them with, and ensuring we can all work as one to build a safe environment for businesses and their workforce.

What are you looking forward to in the future?

Helping my team, my division, my clients, and colleagues grow to be the best we can be. Bureau Veritas is involved in so many different projects, companies and is partnered with many excellent environmental groups—with such a broad scope, I’m excited to see which other areas I can make a difference in. I’m really looking forward to growing personally and professionally with a company that entrust me and my colleagues to leave our mark, and most of all, I’m excited to be able to assist in shaping a world of trust for future generations.
