Forces recruitment - careers for military leavers at Bureau Veritas

There are many members of our team that have joined Bureau Veritas as a second career after leaving the Armed Forces. For a number of years we have been successfully working with the Ministry of Defence and its partners to support those leaving the armed forces into employment. Moving into a civilian career can be as challenging as it is an opportunity. We recognise this, and we take pride in offering an organisation where you can apply the valuable skills you already have to build a second career.

We offer Service leavers roles with tailored best in class training and genuine development potential. Bureau Veritas also offer a transition support program from ex-Service personnel already within Bureau Veritas, making the transition into a new role as smooth as possible. We developed this programme with the support of the Career Transition Partnership (CTP) and Defence Relationship Management and have since been proud to be able to help many ex-service personnel complete their resettlement journey – as well as supporting many more through work placements or by giving advice.

Bureau Veritas has recently received revalidation for a Gold Award in the Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme, in recognition of our successful work to support armed forces leavers.

Technical Manager for Approved Body Services Machinery

Bureau Veritas

Looking back at my experience I’m glad that it was Bureau Veritas that I made the decision to join when returning to civilian life largely due to the opportunities I have had. I joined Bureau Veritas as a consultant in 2017 and I am now the Technical Manager for Approved Body Services Machinery which demonstrates the development opportunities available working with Bureau Veritas.
