MEDICAL, PHARMACEUTICAL AND COSMETICS | CERTIFICATION
ENSURING QUALITY AND SAFETY IN MEDICAL, PHARMA AND COSMETICS
In heavily regulated industries such as medical, pharmaceutical and cosmetics, organisations must focus on their Quality Management Systems to demonstrate quality, safety and meet regulatory standards. Certification of the QMS to global standards can also provide confidence to consumers and customers, drive efficiencies and drive continuous improvement.
Our specialist Certification team works with clients globally to help certify organisations to those global standards and provide confidence in increasingly challenging sectors.
ISO 13485 QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR MEDICAL DEVICES
ISO 13485 Quality Management System for Medical Device Manufacturing is based on the global ISO 9001 Quality Management System standard.
It provides a framework for effective Quality Management Systems, designed specifically to achieve regulatory compliance in the manufacture of medical devices. In doing so, ISO 13485 ensures the consistent design, development, production, installation, delivery and disposal of medical devices that are safe for their intended purpose.
Bureau Veritas is a Certified Body, working with organisations to audit their performance against and certify to the ISO 13485 standard.
ISO 27716 GOOD MANUFACTURING PRACTICES FOR COSMETICS
The international standard ISO 22716 provides manufacturers with guidance on the documentation and regulation of the production, control, storage, and shipment of cosmetic products.
ISO 27716 certification demonstrates that cosmetics products have been manufactured in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This supports manufacturers to maintain quality, demonstrate sustainability, prove safety and demonstrate alignment with emerging consumer trends such as organic products.
