Electric Vehicle Charging Points Testing & Inspection

As the number of Electric Vehicle (EV) registrations in the UK continues to increase, so too does the number of EV charging points. More and more organisations are installing EV charging points on their premises, which require periodic inspection and testing to ensure safety. Manage your EAWR obligations with our periodic inspection and testing of EV charging points and stations.

Like any fixed electrical installation, Duty Holders are required under the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989 (EAWR) to ensure the safety of EV charging points. This includes maintaining electric vehicle systems to prevent, so far as is reasonably practicable, any danger to employees, visitors or other persons.

MAINTAIN SAFETY OF YOUR ELECTRIC VEHICLE POINTS WITH BUREAU VERITAS

Offering a dedicated team of electrical experts, Bureau Veritas supports clients with trusted inspection and testing programmes of EV charging points to help ensure safety and compliance with reference to EAWR and other associated documents.

It is important to manage the safety and compliance of your EV Charging infrastructure throughout its full lifecycle. This will include managing the H&S management of the charging point from installation to the day to day management, to evaluating the fire safety risk when fitted. Bureau Veritas expert teams across all specialisms can support you in this whole process.
