- Preliminary meeting to agree the scope of assessment, including expected timeframe
- Establish audit plan, including current disclosures, any supporting data and existing calculation methodologies
- Audit of reported carbon footprint data to establish accuracy
- Analysis of initial findings and further discussions as required
- Verification statement issued once any necessary corrections have been made and non-conformities addressed
