Bureau Veritas supports data centre operators with all elements related to measuring, recording, and reporting on sustainability and efficiency, from an independent third-party verification perspective, in line with European legislation and recognised European and international standards, across Europe, the Nordics and the UK.
We have supported data centre operators within the Climate Neutral Data Center Pact (CNDCP) Self-Regulatory Initiative (SRI) with the development and implementation of an audit framework in line with legislation, and also supported the European Commission with the development of an assessment framework based on the EU Taxonomy Regulation 2021/2319. The CNDCP now brings together over 80 data centre operators and 22 industry trade associations, committed to making data centres climate neutral by 2030.

Energy Efficiency Directive (EED) Compliance Verification
We provide independent verification of compliance with the Energy Efficiency Directive and EU Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2024/1364, applicable to data centres with ≥500kW installed IT energy demand.
