Supporting London’s COVID Recovery: Join Our Q&A Session

Jun. 1 2021

As more businesses return to work, navigating the complex and often-conflicting guidelines remains a challenge for many. We are experts in business safety and compliance, and we have been supporting organisations to restart their business throughout the pandemic. Now we are partnering with the Central London Alliance to host a guest Q&A session and help London businesses with their COVID recovery.

Our session on 11th June will form part of a free webinar from the Central London Alliance, a collection of London businesses, communities, charities, associations, and authorities which was formed by the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Heart of London Business Alliance and Blue Orchid Hotels.

Titled Supporting London’s COVID recovery we will be answering some of the key questions asked by businesses as they implement COVID-secure measures to maintain safety and compliance. It’s all part of our wider programme of activity with the CLA to support businesses, which also includes a free COVID-19 risk assessment tool developed by Bureau Veritas experts.

Join Vicky Shah, market lead for Business & Industry at Bureau Veritas, and Ari Sinai, lead auditor, who will be answering commonly-asked questions and taking submissions from the online audience too.

Vicky Shah said: “COVID-19 measures bring opportunities as well as challenges. It might seem like a burden, but implementing effective controls can deliver significant benefits for the business, in addition to safety and compliance."

“We’ve spent a lot of time over the last 15 months working with businesses to help them identify what measures they need to take to maintain COVID-compliance, and then provide independent assurance of those measures as they return to work.

“This guest Q&A session for London businesses with the CLA is an extension of that service, answering some of the key questions that we have been commonly asked by other businesses in similar situations. We’ll be identifying the challenges, presenting the opportunities and demonstrating what organisations can be doing to support their COVID recovery.”
