PRESTIGIOUS EX-FORCES SHORTLIST FOR BUREAU VERITAS’S TREVOR DOUCE
Sep. 13 2022
Trevor Douce, international aerospace business director at Bureau Veritas and RAF veteran, was shortlisted for a prestigious award in the 2022 British Ex-Forces in Business Awards, recognising his continued commitment to support others in following his path.
Trevor, who heads up the Bureau Veritas aerospace offering, missed out on the main prize in the Team Leader of the Year award, but was delighted to have been shortlisted in the UK-wide ceremony.
He has been with the business for 23 years since leaving the RAF. As well as working with clients to provide testing, inspection, certification, training and other associated services to support safety and compliance, Trevor plays an active role in the Bureau Veritas ex-forces programme.
The programme includes strategic partnerships with key organisations, offering new career opportunities, practical work experience and training opportunities for those leaving the armed forces.
In 2015, Bureau Veritas signed the Armed Forces Covenant, underlining the company’s commitment to support the wider Armed Forces community and to recognise its contribution to the business and our country.

It’s been a huge honour to have been shortlisted and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole process. I love working with others who have made the transition and I’ll continue to support my team to achieve their own goals and objectives.
Ken Smith, Bureau Veritas UK and Ireland, said: “We are incredibly proud of Trevor’s work here at Bureau Veritas – and indeed of our other veterans – and he fully deserves the recognition he has received. It is fantastic to see our colleagues shortlisted for awards of this kind.
