Bureau Veritas UK Shortlisted for EIC National Awards 2025

We are delighted to announce that Bureau Veritas (UK & Ireland) has been shortlisted for the Energy Industries Council (EIC) National Awards 2025 in the 'Service & Solution of the Year' category.

The Energy Industries Council (EIC) is the world’s largest energy-agnostic trade association, established in 1943. It now represents over 800 companies across the global energy supply chain. Its annual World Energy Supply Chain Awards (WESCAs) are widely recognised as the industry's highest accolade, honouring companies that demonstrate innovation, resilience, and excellence. In 2024, 134 companies were named finalists, with 47 winning across 16 categories—a testament to the awards' scale and prestige.

The nomination recognises our innovative audit solution-based services that focus on exceptional service delivery by developing an independent, customised, scalable audit service model, with collaboration and mentorship as the core values.

Under the leadership of Audit Services Manager Gemma Reid, who joined us in May 2023, we've developed a ground-breaking audit service model that addresses critical industry challenges, including skills shortages, regulatory changes, and the complexities of managing end-of-life assets while transitioning to new energy sources.

We identified a critical gap in the market for independent, high-quality audit services as companies struggled to maintain adequate internal expertise for rigorous self-auditing of critical processes.

Our expanded service portfolio now includes supplier audits, onshore and offshore operational audits, control of work assessments, CDM audits, and emergency response evaluations.
