BUREAU VERITAS RENEWS MEMBERSHIP WITH NATIONAL SKILLS ACADEMY FOR NUCLEAR

Feb. 20 2025

Bureau Veritas is proud to renew it's Corporate Member with NSAN, the National Skills Academy for Nuclear, joining a diverse community of SMEs, supply chains and global leaders across the nuclear industry.

NSAN helps individuals and organisations in the nuclear industry realise their ambitions, develop their understanding and build effective networks for the betterment of the industry.

Already a trusted partner to organisations across the nuclear sector, membership for Bureau Veritas will help ensure that our own training, development and recruitment processes are aligned with the needs of the industry, and that we are developing the skills required to address nuclear challenges.

It also gives our expert team greater opportunity to connect, share ideas and join a wide range of events to help foster collaboration and innovation that benefits the entire industry. These include NSAN Member Forums, Insight Groups, Advisory Boards and Working Groups.

Sammy Tweddle, Energy Director at Bureau Veritas, sits on the NSAN Advisory Board, which feeds into the national skills agenda to address future skills gaps.

He said: “We’re delighted to confirm the renewal of our Corporate Membership with NSAN, which will offer benefits to our organisation, our employees and our customers. I’ve seen the great work that NSAN do through my role on the Advisory Board, and I’m confident that we will benefit from the networks, skills and expertise that is available to members.

“More than that, I recognise the valuable contribution that we can make ourselves. By participating in more Working Groups, Member Forums and other events, we can share our learnings as a renowned safety and compliance partner in the global nuclear industry, to help develop and enhance standards for the better.”
