BUREAU VERITAS EMPLOYEES ENJOY EX FORCES AWARDS NIGHT

Jul. 3 2023

Five Bureau Veritas colleagues came away proud if not victorious following the British Ex Forces in Business Awards in London, the world’s largest celebration of veterans in second careers.

Reiss Wilson (Rising Star Award), Lewis Richardson (New Service Leader), Justin Simons (Reservist of the Year), David Page (Team Leader of the Year) and Craig Meese (Service Leaver) had been hoping to win their respective categories after being shortlisted for the prestigious awards.

It was a fantastic achievement to make the finals night after being chosen from more than 1,000 nominations – and all five were able to enjoy a fantastic evening of celebrations.

Our dedicated recruitment and support programme for armed forces leavers is closely aligned with the company’s own values, recognising the skills and attributes that ex-veterans can offer to the business. Bureau Veritas employs one ex-forces leaver each week as part of our growth programme and being put forward by the business in these awards is just one way in which we recognise their efforts.

We’re incredibly proud of all five colleagues that made the final shortlist, which was a significant achievement against some very strong competition. We’ll continue to grow and develop the recruitment programme and looking forward to nominating more employees in these awards next year.
