Bureau Veritas Delivers Scoring for CDP 2020 Report

Dec. 11 2020

CDP has released the 2020 CDP scores and companies A List, ranking the world's most progressive companies on environmental transparency and performance.

Bureau Veritas was chosen as the CDP 2020 Global Scoring Partner, supporting the not-for-profit charity and its global disclosure system with the scoring of climate change, cities, forests and water security questionnaire responses submitted by organisations worldwide.

A team consisting of colleagues from the Bureau Veritas global business, which has a network of 1,400 offices and over 70,000 employees in more than 140 countries worldwide, completed scoring in three themes and across four languages.

Each year, CDP supports thousands of companies, cities, states and regions to measure and manage their risks and opportunities on climate change, deforestation and water security.

Bureau Veritas was chosen as the scoring partner for its strong track record in sustainability services, together with high standards for quality and technical expertise, which have been key to an ongoing, successful relationship with CDP.

Lina Hilwani, Head of Sustainability at Bureau Veritas UK, said: “As the world continues to battle with the COVID-19 pandemic, our natural world remains under extreme threat due to human activity. 2020-2030 is the decade of action for humanity to act to avoid the most devastating impacts of climate change.

“Supporting the work and the impact of organisations like CDP is critical in shifting investment within the global economy towards more responsible and sustainable practices, where organisations account for their impact and plan for the future.

“We are incredibly proud of our contribution to the great work done by CDP.”
