BUREAU VERITAS: APACHE CORPORATION CONTRACT AWARD
May. 20 2025
Bureau Veritas has been awarded a contract by Apache Corporation to deliver In-Service Verification Services. The initial agreement spans three years, with the potential for two one-year extensions.
This partnership underlines Bureau Veritas's commitment to delivering value beyond standard regulatory compliance. By leveraging innovative verification methodologies, the Bureau Veritas Verification team, led by Euan Michie, will collaborate with Apache to optimise the written scheme of examination. The focus will include the integration of advanced techniques such as remote verification and risk-based verification strategies.
Additionally, the team's approach ensures that all findings provide actionable root cause feedback, contributing directly to the integrity and reliability of Apache's late-life assets as they transition towards decommissioning. This comprehensive strategy not only enhances asset performance but also underscores a shared commitment to safety, efficiency, and sustainability in the energy sector.
"We are thrilled to work with Apache on this critical project. This contract exemplifies our dedication to innovation, collaboration, and delivering high-value solutions that go beyond compliance," said Lee Hunter, Bureau Veritas UK Energy Market Lead. "By integrating advanced verification techniques and providing meaningful insights, we aim to support Apache in maintaining the integrity of their assets while navigating the challenges of late-life operations and decommissioning."
Bureau Veritas is honoured to support Apache in this critical journey, providing expertise and solutions that align with the evolving demands of the industry.
