Bureau Veritas is supporting Dalata Hotel Group, Ireland’s largest hotel operator, across its Clayton, Maldron & Partner brand hotels’ to provide independent assurance of safety and compliance as it works towards reopening all sites across the UK and Ireland.

Dalata, like other businesses across all sectors, has put in place a series of measures to help reduce risk and ensure a safe restart of business following the COVID-19 shutdowns. It is the latest organisation to enlist the support of the Bureau Veritas team for our Restart Your Business solution, providing voluntary, independent assurance in line with best practice measures.

Working closely with the team from Dalata Hotel Group, Bureau Veritas will undertake management level system assessments, together with individual site assessments of 44 hotels across the UK and Ireland.

Audits cover a wide range of measures to help ensure the safety of staff and customers for all hotels, from COVID-19 policies, procedures and communication, to social distancing measures, hygiene, Personal Protective Equipment and remote worker assessments. Building and equipment compliance is also covered, including HVAC and air circulation, equipment risk and water/Legionella risk in buildings which have been closed to the public.
