Representative of Employee Safety (RoES)

OBJECTIVES

• Describe the legislations regarding Safety Representatives
• List the responsibilities associated with the role of RoES
• Identify issues in need of reporting, correction or removal
• Discuss the rights afforded Safety Representatives and RoES
• List organisations and points of contact for escalated issues
• Achieve the pass mark in the end of workshop test

WHO THE COURSE IS FOR?

This course is intended for anyone who performs duties as a Representative of Employee Safety. No previous experience is required.

This half day course includes the below modules:

• Session One: The Health & Safety Legislation related to Safety Representatives
• Session Two: Responsibilities of the RoES
• Session Three: Reporting Issues
• Session Four: Employee Rights
