ISO 19443:2018 for Internal Auditors

OBJECTIVES

• Familiarize internal auditors with the requirements of the ISO19443 standard including both those of the ISO 9001:2015 standard and the additional nuclear requirements applicable for items and activities important for nuclear safety;
• Understand the specific concepts of nuclear safety culture, a graded approach to the requirements of their quality management system and the methodological approach intended to determine what are, within their organization, the articles and IPSN activity.
• Know the good practices, the vocabulary and the additional elements provided by document ISO/TR 4450 - edition 2020-05: Guide for the application of ISO 19443:2018.
• Highlight the requirements of the ISO19443 standard which require special attention during internal audits of their organization and propose a standard audit plan.

WHO THE COURSE IS FOR?

Anyone involved in organizations providing products or services important for nuclear safety and in charge - in the short or medium term - of internal audit assignments within their organizations or external audits within the organization of subsidiaries and sub-subsidiaries of their company. People should also have knowledge of quality management and, if  possible, the nuclear energy sector.
