Why did you choose to join Bureau Veritas?

I chose Bureau Veritas because I admire their trusted history, alongside the company values and mission aligning personally with my goals. I also wanted to work with people that shared the common goal of making the world a better and safer place. Furthermore, I liked that the company respects family values and provides equal opportunities for all which were important to me as a woman and a mother. 

What has been a key highlight for you since joining Bureau Veritas?

A key highlight for me since I joined Bureau Veritas is definitely the training provided to me so far, gaining experience and knowledge from other team members. I value any advice from my managers, which I find helpful and can count on as they always have time for me when I need it.  

How has Bureau Veritas enabled your career progression or training development?

Training on a monthly basis ensures I am up to date with current and new legislation, changes and requirements regarding Quality, Health & Safety and Environment standards. The management team also provides key guidance and support with my skills regularly reviewed with further training planned accordingly. 

Since joining Bureau Veritas back in the pandemic, I could not ask for better support and commitment in ensuring I have all the necessary tools and skills to feel confident and progress in my role. The continual improvement is, I think, the most valuable aspect of working for Bureau Veritas, by providing regular auditor updates meetings and technical meetings make me feel increasingly confident and valued by the team, ensuring I leave my mark the best I can. 

What do you enjoy most about your role? 

I enjoy meeting new people and providing excellent customer service and support for our clients. I also love hearing our customer feedback as it motivates me further to improve in my role alongside the variety of training I received. Finally, I personally like that Bureau Veritas works and supports many charities.

What do you do outside of work to have fun?

Outside of work, I love to sing, record my own music, dance and enjoy painting. I also provide sound therapy sessions to kids with special needs and vulnerable people and will be starting a Psychology Diploma in Sound Therapy in 2023.
