World Environment Day shines the spotlight on air quality
Jun. 4 2019
Air pollution remains a critical issue for people across the world and global leaders are highlighting the dangers as part of World Environment Day 2019 on June 5.
Bureau Veritas’s air quality team will be among those marking World Environment Day 2019, which invites us all to consider how we can change our everyday lives to reduce the amount of air pollution we produce in a bid to thwart its contribution to global warming and its effects on our own health.

Our team of specialist air quality consultants works to support the provision of robust scientific evidence on the UK’s challenges in respect of air quality. Working closely with organisations to achieve statutory obligation, whilst assisting developers in mitigating the impact of air pollution through a range of services helping both regulator and emitters achieve the goals of sustainable development.
At a time when renewed focus is being placed on action rather than diagnosis our experts provide assistance to local authorities in the formulation and appraisal of policies to achieve compliance with air quality standards through local air quality action plans. Expert witness and stakeholder engagement forms an increasing element of our service hierarchy relative to the increased level of public awareness and legal challenge. Working collaboratively with our clients provides for the reassurance that they have the best consultants at their side in matters related to air quality.
