Whyy? Change and Bureau Veritas

Cementing Certification Standards: Bureau Veritas and Whyy? Change

Feb. 28 2020

Bureau Veritas has a long history of expertise in delivering certification services. We offer an experienced team of certification specialists and more than 60 accreditations worldwide, working closely with clients across all sectors to help demonstrate continuous improvement through quality, environmental and occupational H&S management systems, as well as sector-specific standards.

However, to ensure the objectivity of our service and comply with the rules of accreditation and regulatory bodies including UKAS, we don’t implement management systems. Instead, we have developed the Bureau Veritas Certification Consultant Programme; a network of certification consultants, operating nationwide, who work with clients to develop and implement effective management systems.

The programme was formally established in 2018 and has already proved a success. Certification consultants who join have the opportunity to maintain their own independence, whilst taking advantage of enhanced support, access to training, technical support and added value lead generation. They also have exclusive discounts on Bureau Veritas training for them and for their clients.

Collaborating to achieve success

One consultancy to have benefited from the programme is Whyy? Change. With its head office in Sheffield and covering Rotherham, Leeds and Chesterfield, Whyy? Change is a South Yorkshire based quality management network, helping quality managers across the region to improve and achieve certification.

Jo Elliott, Business Development Manager for Bureau Veritas, explains: “Whyy? Change have really grasped the ethos of our programme and they were quick to spot the benefits. From the first meeting I could see they had a vision to work with the best companies. They are the kind of organisation we wanted to be a part of the Certification Consultant Programme.”

Ray Byrne, Chief Executive of Whyy? Change said: “We have already seen the benefit of the Bureau Veritas programme and we’re delighted to be involved. This programme opens new opportunities for us, working with a true global leader in Bureau Veritas, with access to best practice learning and industry-leading insights on top of all the practical benefits such as discounts, training and technical support.”
